A.Able is getting ready to blast into 2010.
Thanks to Jesus we will be taking a well-deserved break this next week to relax and reflect
This year has been wonderful and we have grown in all the right directions.
The last series of the year is Cloudcitysaurus 2010: Version one in two parts

THE FUTURE IS SO BRIGHT!

Secondly, I am working on a 2010 catalog of all out available products
Our new prototypes include hoods, dresses, and vests

Introducing our handy dandy TOTE BAG!

This bag is perfect for your hoodie or raincoat, groceries, kid's toys, spare shoes, helmet, canned beans, books, extra tubes and tools, everything picnic related, six water guns, one regulation size pillow

What I'm trying to say is this bag can hold anything and everything you need to grab and go

I created this bag as an answer to the problems I was having with carrying backpacks everywhere I went. Life on a bicycle doesn't have to involve backsweat and sore shoulders! I began using a front basket but still had trouble keeping things in place or carrying a little more than the short basket height allowed. The bag fits snuggly in my basket whether it is empty or bursting at the seams!

For flair I made the Cloudcitysaurus a mixture of bright orange and glow-in-the-dark. I added rad neon thread detail and slapped on some reflective trim for safety and a little blingy bling.

The bags are made with cordura outter and upholstery lining, which is highly water resistant but still machine washable!!
(Be sure to dry on medium or low heat) They are constructed from 90% recycled materials and measure 8"x10" at the base. Available with one shoulder strap or two.

Mark your calendars friends! December 5, 2009. Noooooon!! Good things are going to happen! Supermarket Street Sweep is an annual bike race that benefits the San Francisco Food Bank! For the past three years, hundreds of participants have zipped around the city to local supermarkets and brought back thousands of pounds of food to donate to this wonderful charity!

Out with the old, In with the new

A sad couch lived in my living room. A lovely loveseat with a single size hide-away bed and large, engulfing cushions. The upholstery of this couch was the victim of neglect. Dusty, dingy fabric on an otherwise fabulous and very useful piece of furniture.

I decided to give this old girl a makeover, but I didn't want to spend too much money on materials. The solution: SCRAP. They have a huge inventory of company samples and leftover materials in all varieties of weight, color, and pattern. After digging through the wall of fabric rolls, I came across and amazing retro futurist patterned fabric. This was the one! A trip to the hardware store to purchase several thousand staples and he we goooo!!

After many hours of stripping the original material, the reupholstering process began. Many more hours of stretching and securing the new and improved material. The back and bottom cushions were replaced and re-quilted, with removable cover for easy cleaning. The final result is a contemporary, plush, practical, and resourceful new addition to our living space.

And neither are Hipsters!

The first Hipster hip pouch design was created in 2005, as a result of not carrying a purse and too many things falling out of my pockets. This model was constructed with an old pair of pants, some industrial stick velcro, and hand-printed fabric. Although rudimentary, the design proved to be very successful! It was perfect for concerts, hikes, biking, dancing. It ruled! I made more for my friends out of their old jeans and favorite tshirts. Anything. Everything! Umpteen variations of sizes, pockets, attachments, closures, hidden pockets, and fabric. This gifted effort became my first production line ever. Now that I had the product, I had to get people savvy to the cause. You could find me one the streets of Philadelphia, Manhattan, and Brooklyn with a smile and a medley of original Hipsters ready for your swagger and eager for your sway!

That was in 2005. What a revolutionary summer that turned out to be!
Since then, I have personally crafted over 200 Hipsters that have found lives all over the globe. Australia, Japan, America! So much fun! So many lessons learned. The contemporary Hipster is waterproof, and available in small and large. It will fit on a skinny belt or a gaudy large gold belt with equal strength and durability. Hipsters can close themselves off from the world by way of velcro, magnetic snap, button, or zipper. The small is enough for your phone, a digital camera, small notebook, tiny dinosaur, 1" stamp of your face, and two pens with room to spare for small collections of dollardollar bills and various trinkets. Literally! In March 2009, I traveled from Portland, Maine to Boston to San Francisco to Austin, Texas then all the way back to Maine with just that by my side the entire time! My Hipster has magnetic snap closure and is canvas outside with cordura liner. It was a crucial piece of my travels.

The ultimate success of the contemporary Hipster has inspired this generation to be the best yet! While still experimenting with pocket orientation and closure techniques, these hipsters are the perfect blend of utility and casual style.
